I love helping people, which is why I chose to go into counselling. Everyone goes through times of struggles and challenges. It takes strength to face challenges and to actively work toward doing things differently. While the process can be difficult, I believe the outcome makes it worthwhile. I enjoy working along side my clients to help them navigate these times.
I have worked with clients since 2007 in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, stress, worry, emotional regulation, anger, substance abuse, improving self-esteem, problem solving and grief. I am client focused, and often use CBT, DBT, ACT and EFT in my practice. I am also trained in EMDR and have level 1 and 2 of the Gottman marriage method.
